Marios Athanasiou

For Rush, Marios Athanasiou recorded twelve hours of his life using a set of binaural microphones. The recording was then time compressed down to twelve minutes.

The activities of the day included piano playing, using the train, preparing dinner, visiting a busy museum and more.

Rush is an attempt to show how we can use digital technology to manipulate and distort our acoustic environment.
