This work forms part of a series of animations, objects and performances entitled pwn3d, a gamer term referring to humiliating victory and appropriation, usually of a defeated player or computer system. The series explores first-person shooter games, in particular the virtual gun, which often serves as a stand-in for the body. The artist is particularly interested in how FPS games assign value and construct a particular masculine identity.
