Annett Zinsmeister is a German Artist based in Berlin. She studied Fine Arts, Architecture and Media Theory. Diploma at University of Art + Design Berlin in 1997. In 2000 she started to teach and became appointed Professor in 2003. She taught at KHB – Academy of Fine Arts Berlin – Weissensee, Bergische Universität Wuppertal, State Academy of Art + Design Stuttgart, where she also was Director of Weissenhof-Institute until 2013. Annett Zinsmeister has been a member of many juries and organizations such as Deutscher Künstlerbund (since 2010).
Annett Zinsmeister received several grants and prizes, including artist in residency e.g. Schlesinger-Stiftung, Switzerland, Schloß Solitude Stuttgart, Germany and Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, France. She was awarded ring Suisse Art Award in 1999 as well as in several competitions.
Her oeuvre has been published in well-known magazines, art catalogues and books. It has been shown in international solo and group exhibitions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, USA, Peru, and is part of international private and public collections.
